Candy was a great momma and helped to get her family ready for adoption. Now, she is looking for a family to help her out. She is Heartworm Positive, but her treatment is being covered by RRinc. She is eligible for our Foster-to-Adopt program.
Candy with her 3 pups - Lula, Diva, and Kane |
BLOGGER'S NOTE: Transporting Candy and her pups to their foster home was the first volunteer work I did for RRinc. Candy was a total sweetheart, wagging her little stump-tail at everyone. She seemed like a fantastically mellow and easy-going dog.

Hello,
ReplyDeleteI'm the foster for Candy, she is a great dog, who love, loves, people. She great along with other dogs, is interested in cats. I have a cat who will walk around her and he is not afraid, but I have one who will run at the site of a dog and she is always very interested in that cat. She loves kids, walks great on a leash, can be crated or not. Somedays I will leave her out with my 11 year old Aussie and they just lay around waiting on us to return. She is housae broke and never makes a mess or chews things up. She is always friendly and will lay down and show her belly to another dog who may show agerssion or she will always bow down. She is quite a lady. Candy loves to do what ever you are doing. If you want to go for a walk or stay home watching tv, she is up for it. I always wonder how such an awesome dog ended up in foster, but, their loss and ours to gain.
Who ever gets this little lady will be getting a very well mannered and wonderful companion. Please feel free to contact me with any questions you may have about Candy. We just love her. Vicki aka driftencowgirl@yahoo.com
