Frisco was picked up with another dog in Manatee County. Someone came to claim the beautiful blue & white Pit that Frisco was found with, but left Frisco at the shelter. In addition to a case of Demodex mange, he also had a "homemade" ear crop done, most likely with no painkillers or anesthesia.
His face was oozing blood and pus and had to be scrubbed daily. He was also on antibiotics and anti-inflammatories to help ease his pain and itching. He also had to go through biweekly Promeris treatment and wear a cone so he couldn't scratch his face.
